Fit To Be Tied is a very sexy, hilariously funny and provocatively kinky comedy that offers a fresh perspective on the subject of S&M

The dominant leather top. Or at least, that’s the plan. His inexperience makes him a hilariously inadequate bondage master, but he tries his best to make their fantasy work.

A work featuring a small cast of characters interacting in a limited setting. This allows us to focus on the ebbs and flows that arise as our talent begin being placed in uncomfortable situations.

Partnering with the Arizona Men of Leather (AML) a male-identified Leatherman’s Social Club consisting of individuals who seek or live the Leather/SM/Fetish lifestyle, providing opportunities for friendship, mentoring, education, and support of our community.

A cute gay “twink” responds to an online profile and ends up forming a connection. Agreeing to meet in a hotel room and enact a role play kink fantasy as the submissive role.

“The brilliance of the production is that when it begins, it is easy to think that S&M is just a fancy or a game that perhaps these people will outgrow. By the end of the production however, those judgments are at least reexamined. This to me is the sign of good theatre: a story that makes you re-evaluate previous conceptions about the world.”

“This light, kinky comedy takes place in a hotel room on a Saturday night when
James, the putative “top,” or dominant sexual partner, pulls on his shiny new leather pants and invites Tommy, the submissive “bottom,” over for a little knot-tying and handcuffing action… Playwright-director Kevin Michael West’s gentle satire of masculinity and macho role-playing is often delightful as the
two young men bond through their failed attempt at bondage.”

The Reign is a dramatic, white knuckle thriller about an 18 year old African American orphan who, after being intimidated into attending an elite boarding school after a racial incident, has to choose: provide cover for a racist system, or go back to homelessness.

Watch as Harlan navigates the corrupt system that surrounds his life.

Given our GoPro shooting method, this is a potentially revolutionary new style of filmmaking. It’s going to be a challenge convincing people to get on board with it. But they will once they see the proof of concept.

We want people to come out of this understanding the importance of thinking for yourself, of how education should give you tools to better analyze the world around you, and make informed decisions, as opposed to just passing generic tests that assure you fit some prefabricated mold.

Some projects know that the best way to change the system is to shift things from the inside. That’s both the figurative and literal goal of the team behind “The Reign,” the Project of the Month for April 2016, as chosen by Indiewire readers.
